Terms and Conditions of the Tour and Liability Clauses

Update Date: October 1, 2024

This is the latest version of the itinerary. Any brochures or flyers released prior to this printing date will be replaced by this updated version.

Liability Clauses:

1. "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" acts solely as an agent for the services provided by the airlines, hotels, accommodations, and other travel organizations included in the itinerary. Customers participating in the tours mentioned in the itinerary or brochures, including but not limited to cases of property loss, accidental injury or death, natural disasters, machinery failure, transportation delays, fire, strikes, war, political instability, or changes in government regulations that result in loss or additional expenses, shall have no claims against "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" or its agents.

2. Any arrangements made by "Jubilee Travel Company Limited," including tickets, exchange documents, receipts, contracts, or vouchers issued on behalf of the aforementioned service providers, are subject to the terms and conditions set by those providers. Should customers experience issues such as transportation delays, baggage loss, property loss, accidental injury, or any other loss, they must pursue claims or compensation directly with the entities that own, manage, or operate the relevant transportation, hotels, accommodations, restaurants, tourist attractions, entertainment activities, or any other services. "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" is not liable for any such losses, injuries, or damages.

Furthermore, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" is not responsible for any negligence or misconduct by non-employee parties. Customers should follow the rules and terms of the relevant service providers when seeking recourse. In the event of any incidents during the trip (including but not limited to accidents while participating in entertainment or recreational activities) that result in injury or property loss, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" shall not be held responsible for such injuries or losses.

3. "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" and its agents reserve the right to modify any items in the itinerary based on circumstances. They may also shorten or extend the journey, with costs adjusted accordingly, and customers shall not object to this:

A) If any item is changed before the tour departure due to special circumstances, resulting in increased operational costs, customers may choose to accept the adjusted price or receive a full refund of all payments made within seven working days. If changes lead to decreased operational costs, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" will refund the difference within seven working days.

B) If any item is changed after the tour departure due to special circumstances, resulting in increased operational costs, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" reserves the right to charge additional fees. If changes lead to decreased operational costs, the company will refund the difference within one month after the tour returns to Hong Kong.

4. All hotels and accommodations are arranged according to the itinerary; however, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" reserves the right to make changes based on circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, situations such as exhibitions or special conditions that may require substituting accommodations with equivalent hotels in nearby cities.

Any attractions in the itinerary may be replaced with alternative programs if they are closed or unavailable due to holidays, special events, or other circumstances. The sequence of the itinerary will be determined by the airline and local service providers.

Regarding restaurant arrangements, if there are holidays, renovations, or special situations, meals will be substituted accordingly, and the order of meals may be adjusted based on local conditions.

5. Any transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, meals, and other items arranged in the itinerary are group bookings. Once confirmed and ordered, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances for unused services. For instance, if customers have requests that differ from the group arrangements, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" will make every effort to accommodate these requests; however, customers must bear all associated costs, including but not limited to the company’s administrative fees.

6.  "Confirmed Departure" means that "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" has reserved seats for the specified departure date of the tour or has sufficient participants registered. However, the decision to proceed with the departure is subject to other factors, and the company reserves the final decision.

7.  For travelers participating in tours of different durations that are combined into one departure, those returning to Hong Kong first will be arranged by an airport assistant to take a designated vehicle to the local airport on the day of their return. Customers must independently board the specified flight to Hong Kong, and there will be no tour leader accompanying them.

8.  If customers choose to bring their own tickets to join the tour, they are fully responsible for all matters related to their self-booked flights. Customers must confirm with "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" whether the tour is proceeding and verify the flight details before purchasing their own tickets. Otherwise, all consequences will be the customer's responsibility.

For example, in the event of delays or cancellations due to weather issues, mechanical failures, or other unforeseen circumstances affecting either the group flight or the customer's self-booked flight, customers may not arrive on time or may need to change their destination. In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and customers must independently travel to the latest meeting point.

9.  The transportation arrangements used for the tour are group bookings, and customers must travel with the group for both departure and return. If customers choose to stay longer in the local area or other cities, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" will make every effort to assist in booking extended flights or ferry seats. However, regardless of whether these arrangements are confirmed, customers cannot raise objections, withdraw from the tour, or claim compensation.  Any costs and responsibilities (including insurance claims) arising from extended stays after the tour is completed will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

10.  If customers choose to stay in the local area after the tour, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" will make every effort to assist in booking additional flights, transport, hotels, and accommodation services. However, if customers wish to make their own arrangements, they must first confirm the return date, flight details, and the status of the tour with "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" before finalizing any self-arranged items. Otherwise, all consequences will be the responsibility of the customer.

11.  The costs listed in the itinerary or brochure are based on the prevailing airfare and international currency exchange rates at that time. In the event of fluctuations in foreign currency, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" reserves the right to adjust various fees and charge additional amounts prior to departure.

12.  In light of the fact that fuel surcharges and various ticket prices may be adjusted periodically, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" reserves the right to modify any fees prior to departure.

13.  According to the guidelines of the Travel Industry Authority, tour fees may be subject to additional charges if, for example, the exchange rate fluctuates by more than three percent, or if unforeseen circumstances arise that reasonably lead to increased operating costs. These additional fees can be proportionately charged to the customer.

14.  Before departure, each customer must ensure that all necessary entry documents, including visas, are obtained. If a customer is denied or delayed entry into any country for any reason, they must accept responsibility for this and bear any losses incurred by fellow travelers as a result. The Travel Industry Authority will not be held liable for such issues. All additional arrangements for accommodation, transportation, and related costs will be the sole responsibility of the customer, and any remaining itinerary not completed with the group will not be eligible for compensation.

15.  Even if a customer holds valid entry visas and travel documents, if they are denied entry or experience delays upon entry due to personal background issues or any other reasons by local immigration or customs authorities, it is unrelated to "Jubilee Travel Company Limited." All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and the customer must bear any additional costs incurred during this period.

16.  Customers must comply with the regulations of each country, including but not limited to prohibitions on carrying prohibited items, using drones, smoking in hotels and accommodation rooms, and adhering to other local laws. Those who violate these regulations will be held responsible for their actions, and "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" reserves the right to seek compensation for any losses incurred as a result.

17.  Except with the special consent and arrangements of "Jubilee Travel Company Limited," if a customer independently changes their participation to be represented by another person, "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" or its authorized personnel reserves the right to cancel their eligibility to join the tour without refunding any tour fees.

18.  All activities during the itinerary are designed and arranged based on overall needs. However, customers participating in these activities must adhere to the guidelines and arrangements provided by the staff. They should also consider their own age, physical condition, health status, as well as local weather conditions and the nature of the activities, to assess whether they should participate. Customers must accept full responsibility for any consequences arising from their participation. If deemed necessary, they should seek advice from a doctor or professional.

19.  Certain travel activities during the journey may involve potential risks, including but not limited to activities involving animals, horseback riding, wildlife tracking, scuba diving, snorkeling, hot air ballooning, high-altitude trekking, climbing, skydiving, white-water rafting, and winter activities such as skiing. These activities may lead to illness, loss, or even injury or death. Customers must fully understand the potential risks before participating in such activities and accept complete responsibility for their own health and safety. This includes any foreseeable or unforeseeable physical discomfort, illness, loss, or injury. Customers cannot hold "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" or its agents legally responsible or seek additional compensation as a result.

20.  If customers choose to leave the group or abandon the itinerary during the journey, they will assume all responsibilities after departing from the group (including insurance claims). All consequences will be unrelated to "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" or its agent companies.

21.  Before participating in any tours organized by "Jubilee Travel Company Limited," customers are advised to consult relevant travel advisories at http://www.sb.gov.hk/chi/ota/. The decision to travel outside the country is solely personal. If a customer decides not to join the group due to an existing travel advisory, it will be considered as an automatic forfeiture of their booking, and all fees paid will be non-refundable. "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" will not arrange alternative tours.

22.  "Jubilee Travel Company Limited" processes all customer information in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

"Jubilee Travel Company Limited" or the cruise company also reserves the right to adjust the sightseeing itinerary onshore based on the docking time and local traffic conditions, and no compensation will be provided for such changes.
